Struggling to course of action the revelation, Ayato panics and flees. He runs into his classmate Reika Mishima who leads him to a spot referred to as "The Shrine of Xephon" exactly where a large egg slumbers. She begins to sing and an unfamiliar energy awakens within Ayato, connecting him to a becoming termed RahXephon that breaks out of the egg.
